Alliance Climate Control is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to take ownership of our financial function and support the continued growth of our business.

This is a hands-on accounting role, responsible for financial reporting, taxation work papers, internal controls, and analysis — working closely with our CFO to ensure the numbers are always accurate, timely, and compliant.

You’ll work closely with our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams and play a key role in keeping our finance function sharp as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and management reports for the CFO, management, and relevant statutory bodies

•Review and consolidate financial data from Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance

•Analyse operating costs, income and expenditure, and provide insights and recommendations to support business decision-making

•Prepare and review Business Activity Statements (BAS), and supporting work papers in line with legislative requirements

•Develop, implement, and monitor internal control systems to ensure the integrity of financial reporting and compliance across key processes

•Maintain and review accounting systems and financial records, identifying opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency

•Provide financial advice to support business operations and compliance obligations

•Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and financial institutions as required to support reporting and compliance outcomes

What We’re Looking For

•Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting and demonstrated experience in financial reporting, taxation, and compliance

•Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret financial data and provide practical, commercially focused insights

•Experience overseeing or working alongside AP and AR functions, with the ability to ensure accuracy across financial workflows

•Up-to-date knowledge of Australian tax legislation and accounting standards

•High attention to detail with a structured and methodical approach to work

•Professional, reliable, and able to work collaboratively within a team environment

Experience within a trade services, construction, or SME environment is highly regarded.
