Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administration Officer to support the smooth day-to-day operations of their office. About the Role

Reporting to the Practice Director, this position plays a key role in supporting administrative, financial, and operational functions. You will act as a central point of contact for customers and suppliers while ensuring all systems and records are accurately maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain debtor and creditor systems, including invoicing and statement preparation
  • Support payroll and maintain personnel records
  • Manage administration and production records (electronic and hard copy)
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers
  • Answer incoming calls and manage general enquiries
  • Prepare correspondence and assist with office documentation
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail
  • File invoices, quotations, and related documents
  • Assist with banking and reconciliation tasks as required
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Maintain a clean and organised office environment

About You

  • Minimum 1 year experience in an administrative role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident dealing with customers and suppliers
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

Desirable

  • Formal qualifications in administration, clerical work, or bookkeeping
