Wanted: Experienced Block Layer / Bricklayer Wanted – Immediate Start

We are looking for a high-quality, experienced Block Layer to join our growing crew for ongoing work across commercial, civil and residential projects. We are after someone who takes pride in their work, can work efficiently, and produces a high standard finish every time.

About the role:

You will be involved in a variety of masonry and block laying works including:

1. Concrete block laying
2. Retaining walls
3. Structural blockwork
4. Footings and foundations
5. Core filling and reinforcement work
6. Reading plans and working to set-outs
7. Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and on time

What we are looking for:

We want someone who:

1. Has solid experience in block laying/masonry
2. Can lay blocks accurately, plumb and to line
3. Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
4. Can work unsupervised when required
5. Works well within a team environment
6. Takes pride in workmanship and site presentation
7. Has a strong understanding of site safety

Requirements:

1. White Card (essential)
2. Relevant experience in block laying/bricklaying
3. Own transport and licence preferred
4. Own tools an advantage
5. Ability to read plans and levels preferred
6. wages available depending on experience
