About the Role

The Cabinetmaker position is responsible for manufacturing, assembling, and installing cabinetry and joinery products as part of the business's day-to-day operations. The role involves interpreting drawings, working with a range of materials and machinery, and ensuring cabinetry products are produced to required specifications and quality standards.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: $75,000 to $85,000 + Superannuation

Key Responsibilities

1. Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and production requirements
2. Manufacture and assemble cabinets, furniture, and joinery products in accordance with design specifications
3. Measure, cut, shape, and fit timber, laminates, veneers, and other materials
4. Operate woodworking machinery, hand tools, and workshop equipment safely and efficiently
5. Assemble cabinetry components and prepare products for installation
6. Install cabinetry and joinery products where required
7. Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications
8. Maintain workshop equipment, tools, and work areas in a clean and organised condition
9. Identify manufacturing issues and report them to supervisors where required
10. Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times

Skills & Experience

1. Relevant qualification such as Certificate III in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology or equivalent
2. Minimum 1–2 years of full-time relevant work experience in a similar role
3. Experience manufacturing and assembling cabinetry or joinery products
4. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
5. Strong attention to detail and workmanship standards
6. Ability to work effectively within a workshop and team environment
7. Knowledge of workplace safety and woodworking machinery operations
