Power On Cabling is a fast-growing company who specialize in underground asset installation, excavation, cable laying, concrete formwork, earthworks & electrical installation.
We require a qualified Carpenter to work with our company on a full time basis. The Roles and Responsibilities include:
- Provide expertise in Civil Construction Carpentry and Form-work
- Carpentry, Shoring work inside open trenches
- Formwork to re-instate concrete footpaths kerbs and brick paving
- Set out concrete foundations, pour blinding, tie reo, form up foundations for concrete pour
- Work under own initiative
- Liaise with other trades on-site
- Collecting data from the DBYD underground plans
- To have completed an induction and be competent to perform work to the level required
- Have a clear understanding of what is required for each job
- Be able to communicate effectively with management and other team members
- Understand and implement Power On Cabling policies and procedures and safety standards
- Identify and action with HR your training needs
- Comply to company drug and alcohol testing and medical requirements
- Comply to all of the Western Power work practice manual requirements
- Give training and insight to offsiders and younger crew members

Remuneration
An annual salary of between $70,000 - $90,000 depending on experience.
Experience
The successful applicant must have at least three years experience.
