About the Role

We are looking for a talented and passionate Chef to join our team at our restaurant. This is an exciting full-time opportunity for a culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to play a key role in delivering an authentic and high-quality dining experience to our loyal customers. As our Chef, you’ll take ownership of our kitchen operations—leading by example, inspiring your team, and delivering dishes that leave a lasting impression.

Responsibilities

1. Menu & Cost Management: Developing menus, balancing food and labor budgets, and managing all supplier orders.

2. Quality Control: Overseeing every dish through prep and service to ensure it meets the highest standards.

3. Cross-Team Coordination: Working directly with management and staff to ensure seamless service and dietary compliance.

4. Technical Instruction: Demonstrating professional cooking techniques and refining prep methods with the team.

5. Hands-on Cooking: Actively preparing and cooking meals during daily service.

6. Kitchen Safety: Directing all food safety protocols and maintaining strict hygiene standards on the floor.

7. Staff Development: Handling the hiring, onboarding, and practical training of junior kitchen staff.

8. Stock Preservation: Managing food storage, freezing, and preservation to maximize shelf life and minimize waste.

What We’re Looking For

·Certificate IV in Commercial cookery with Diploma in hospitality Management

·At least 1 years of experience working as a Chef

·Strong skills in kitchen management, food safety, and quality assurance

·Creative flair and a passion for food presentation and innovation

·Strong understanding of cost control, menu planning, and portion management

·Excellent time management and communication skills
