Lancefield Brewery s looking for a Chef to join our team at Lancefield, Victoria. The Chef will be responsible for menu planning, ordering, inventory, training and leading and development of the culinary staff.

Main Duties

· Planning menus, estimating food and kitchen labor costs and ordering food supplies

· Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and

· presentation

· Discussing food preparation issues with director, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff

· Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures

· to other kitchen staff when necessary

· Preparing and cooking food according to menu

· Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations

· Provide necessary assistance for selecting and train kitchen staff

· Freeze and preserve food when necessary

To be successful in this role you will have to :

·Good interpersonal and communication skills

·Ability to work as a team member

·Good time management skills and the ability to work under pressure

·Demonstrated ability to be able to multi task

Qualifications & Experience

·Certificate IV Commercial Cookery

· Minimum 1 year of work experience as a Chef
