We offer great Mexican cuisine with extraordinary service, delicious drinks and lively atmosphere. We are looking for a qualified and experienced chef to join our business on a full-time basis.

To be considered for this position, you must:

·At least 1 year of experience in a similar role

·Diploma/Certificate III/IV in cookery or equivalent

·Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.

·Passion for creating delicious and high-quality food.

·Strong leadership and communication skills.

·Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities:

·Developing new dishes and planning menus considering preparation costs including labour cost

·Engaging in food preparation and cooking

·Overseeing food preparation to maintain consistently high standards.

·Providing demonstrations of techniques and offering advice on cooking procedures.

·Monitoring and maintaining stock levels

·Communicating and enforcing hygiene standards.

·Collaborating with managers, and kitchen and waiting staff on food preparation issues

·Demonstrating techniques and providing advice on cooking procedures.

·Conducting inventory checks in the kitchen and placing supply orders as needed.

·Selecting and training staff

·Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and updating policies regularly as needed.

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Pay: $75,000.00- $85,000.00 per year
