Due to the business growing, we are now looking for a professional and reliable Civil Engineering Drafter to join our team.
Annual Salary: $90,376 plus superannuation contributions
Duties and Responsibilities of Civil Engineering Drafter
ㆍ Create and refine accurate, customised civil engineering drawings, plans, and layouts using CAD software, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, specifications, and regulations.
ㆍ Perform data analysis and necessary calculations to support civil drafting tasks.
ㆍ Collaborate closely with engineers to interpret project guidelines, select appropriate tools, and follow set procedures to maintain precision.
ㆍ Estimate material quantities and associated costs, and prepare detailed cost proposals.
ㆍ Conduct site visits to gather data on soil conditions, materials, and other relevant factors, and assist in testing activities.
ㆍ Review drafted designs, promptly address any issues, and coordinate with team members to maintain drawing quality and support project timelines.
The Applicant Must Meet the Following Qualification, Experience and Skills Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
ㆍ At least a Bachelor
ㆍ At least five years relevant working experience
Essential Skills
ㆍ Proficient in drafting software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D
ㆍ Strong computer literacy and technical skills
ㆍ Solid understanding of civil engineering principles and practices
ㆍ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
ㆍ Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
ㆍ High level of attention to detail
ㆍ Strong time management, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
ㆍ Previous experience in the construction industry is highly regarded
