Sugar Cleaning Co is a rapidly growing professional cleaning company based in Cairns, Queensland, specialising in high-end domestic, commercial, Airbnb, builders, and resort-style cleaning services across Far North Queensland.
We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional attention to detail, professionalism, reliability, and high cleaning standards to our valued clients. Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Housekeeper to join our team on a full-time basis.
The Role
This is a hands-on cleaning role suited to someone who is physically fit, reliable, and able to work independently and within a team environment.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Detailed commercial and residential cleaning
Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
Bathroom and kitchen deep cleaning
Restocking consumables and maintaining cleaning supplies
Window and glass cleaning
Following company cleaning procedures and safety standards
Using professional cleaning equipment and chemicals correctly
Attending scheduled cleans across multiple locations
Reporting maintenance or safety concerns when required
Maintaining high presentation and customer service standards
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
Minimum 1 year commercial or residential cleaning experience
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently within timeframes
Excellent reliability and punctuality
Ability to work autonomously and within a team
Current Driver Licence and reliable vehicle preferred
Ability to perform physically demanding work
Good communication skills
Availability to work flexible hours, including some weekends if required
