Esslemont Electrical Pty Ltd is a Western Australia-based electrical services provider specialising in solar energy solutions and general electrical works. We deliver high-quality installation and maintenance services for both residential and commercial clients, with a strong focus on efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Contract Administrator to support the delivery of our solar and electrical projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review and administer contracts for solar installation and electrical service projects, including managing contract variations where required.
- Coordinate with project managers, electricians, engineers, and external stakeholders to ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved.
- Handle client and contractor enquiries, and resolve issues relating to project scope, timelines, and service delivery.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, compliance records, and progress reports.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and assist in managing work orders and variations.
- Prepare reports, submissions, and project updates for management review.
- Analyse project-related data to support operational improvements and reporting outcomes.
- Assist in reviewing operational requirements, including office and project resource arrangements where necessary.
- Provide advice and recommendations to senior management on contract and project-related matters, and implement approved decisions.
Required Qualification & Skills
- Relevant AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma; or at least 3 years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferred in the related fields but not a must.
- Strong contract management and negotiation skills.
- Problem-solving and issue resolution abilities.
- Attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork across projects.
Salary
- Annual salary for this position is from $77,000 to $95,000 plus super.
- Full-time permanent contract.
