Position: Cook (Full-time)

Salary: $75,000 – $80,000 + Superannuation

Work Location: 50 Rawson Street, Epping NSW 2121, Australia

Bringko Epping Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Cook to join our team at The Bunsik Burger in Epping, NSW. This is a full-time position within a fast-paced and growing hospitality environment.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery or related field (preferred)

• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience as a Cook in a commercial kitchen

• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation, and cooking techniques

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards

• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours in a busy kitchen

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with The Bunsik Burger standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation

• Assist in food preparation, portion control, and kitchen operations during service

• Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen in compliance with food safety regulations

• Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and ensure proper storage of ingredients

• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service

• Follow company procedures, recipes, and operational standards

• Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control standards are consistently met.

• Cook food using woks, pans, ovens, grills, and other commercial kitchen equipment.

• Adapt recipes and cooking techniques to accommodate special requests and dietary restrictions.

• Assist with menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.

• Train and supervise junior kitchen staff as required.

• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards at all times.
