Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per annum + superannuation

Employment Type: Full-Time (38 hours per week)

Eden Kitchen & Bar is seeking a motivated and experienced Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. This is a full-time position in a fast-paced, professional hospitality environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu requirements
2. Assist in planning menus and estimating food and labour costs
3. Ensure quality control at all stages of food preparation and presentation
4. Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies
5. Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in the kitchen
6. Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency
7. Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff during service
8. Inspect and maintain kitchen equipment to ensure proper functioning
9. Store food in temperature-controlled environments and minimise wastage
10. Ensure compliance with WHS and food safety regulations

Requirements:

1. Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience as a Cook
2. Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery (Certificate III or higher) – mandatory
3. Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards
4. Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
5. Good communication and teamwork skills
6. Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality service
