Cafe the Prevue Pty Ltd in Wangaratta is looking for a full time cook to join our business on a
full-time basis.
Salary on offer is $75000-$80000 plus mandatory super (above award rates), depending on
experience.
Your Duties will Include:
Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment.
Examine cooked and uncooked food stuffs to ensure quality
Preparing and cooking food.
Seasoning food during cooking.
Portioning food, placing it on plates and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes.
Storing food in temperature-controlled facilities.
Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements.
Cleaning and following health and safety procedures:
In need, assist chefs in menu planning, and estimate food requirements, and
In need, may provide training to other kitchen staffs who are less qualified/experienced
To be considered for this position, you must-:
have previous experience in the industry or in a similar role (at least 1-2 years)
Have relevant qualifications or at least 3 years’ experience
be self-motivated, creative, confident and enthusiastic
be a team player
