It offers a dine-in, takeaway, and delivery experience built around authentic Italian cooking, featuring handmade pasta and dishes made with fresh ingredients and a “fatta con amore” (made with love) philosophy.
Sale Pepe is now looking for a Cook to join their team.
The right candidate will be responsible for:
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items including traditional Italian style dishes.
- Ensure all meals are prepared to a high standard of quality, presentation, and taste.
- Assist in the planning and development of menu items and daily specials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, following food safety and hygiene standards.
- Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.
- Coordinate with other kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely service during peak periods.
- Comply with health, safety, and sanitation procedures in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Ensure consistent portion sizes and reduce food waste through careful preparation.
About you:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cook;
- Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a high standard of service.
- Strong team player with good communication skills.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen operations.
Job type: Permanent/full-time
Salary: $76,000 - $82,000
