About the Role
Our industry partner, Volcano's Steakhouse Blactown is seeking skilled and passionate Cook to join their dynamic kitchen team. This hands-on position involves the preparation and cooking of a diverse range of steakhouse dishes, with a strong focus on quality meats, bold flavours, and consistent presentation.
Salary : $75000-$85000AUD

- Prepare and cook food items in accordance with established recipes and instructions.
- Assist in basic food preparation, including cutting, portioning, and assembling ingredients.
- Ensure dishes are produced consistently and presented in line with expected standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and workstations throughout operations.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements:
- At least 1–3 years of relevant work experience as a Cook in a commercial kitchen.
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support overall kitchen operations.
