Mataam Al Mandi Punchbowl Pty Ltd specialises in Indian and Arab cuisine. We are currently seeking 2 x Cooks to be part of our kitchen team across multiple locations within Sydney Metro, including Lakemba and other Sydney locations. These full-time positions carry a salary of $77K to $85k plus super.

You should ideally have a Certificate IV in Cookery or equivalent work experience. You should at least 2 years of proven industry experience. You should demonstrate sound culinary knowledge and skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role is open to Australian Citizen and Permanent Residents. Main Tasks:

• Prepare and cook meals as per menu

• Prepare ala carte requested food items as needed to meet guest dietary requirements.

• Executes food production in accordance with standards of plating guide specifications.

• Attend to the detail and presentation of each order with efficient sequencing

• Adhere to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures

• Ensure that inventory of supplies is completed regularly, and items are in-stock.

• Ensure that deliveries are stored in their proper place and in a timely manner.

• Contribute to daily, holiday, and theme menus in collaboration with the Chef

• Contribute to programs designed to improve quality of service and kitchen productivity.

Salary - $77,000 - $85,000 plus superannuation
