About the Opportunity

As the Culture Lead, you will draw on your senior Organisational Development capability to lead ASC’s organisation‑wide Cultural Transformation program. You will shape how the transformation is delivered, embedded, and sustained across a complex defence environment. Working closely with leaders, teams, and external partners, you will turn strategic intent into practical outcomes that strengthen leadership, behaviours, and ways of working across ASC.

This is a highly visible role that requires strong influence and the ability to bring people along on meaningful change.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of ASC’s Cultural Transformation program in partnership with an external culture partner
  • Establish project governance, including steering committees, working groups, and reporting.
  • Translate strategy into clear action plans, milestones, and measures of success and oversee implementation.
  • Drive cross‑functional collaboration across People & Culture, Change, Communications, and capability teams.
  • Partner with external cultural transformation specialists to deliver a fit‑for‑purpose roadmap.
  • Monitor progress using data, insights, and feedback, adjusting plans as needed.
  • Apply organisational development and change practices to support shifts in behaviours, mindsets and ways of working.

About you

  • Tertiary qualification in Organisational Development, Psychology, Human Resources, Behavioural Science or a related discipline is highly regarded.
  • Proven experience leading complex, organisation‑wide OD projects or cultural change initiatives.
  • Strong project governance, planning, and delivery capability in a multi‑stakeholder environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work at both strategic and operational levels.
  • Highly developed stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across all levels of an organisation.
  • Experience applying organisational development and change management approaches to deliver practical, business‑wide outcomes.
  • Comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor, balancing strategic intent with hands‑on delivery.
  • Ability to analyse data and translate insights into clear, practical recommendations.

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
