Trellis Technologies an Adelaide based Software and Data-as-a-Service that operates in the “E” of the ESG space. We support organisations to speed up their sustainability journey towards net-zero targets and utility / resource optimisation. Trellis leverages various technologies to intercept, process and interpret large volumes of financial grade data to support business and government make better data-based decisions, boost sustainability, optimise operations and ultimately achieve better environmental and financial outcomes.
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Data Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, validating, analysing, and interpreting large datasets to support operational performance and strategic decision-making. This position is a full-time ongoing position, working 38 hours per week based in Adelaide, SA, 5000.
Main tasks
- Analyse Holding Area errors to identify root causes (extraction vs data quality vs configuration issues); identify error patterns and trends; recommend systematic improvements; support business auto-allocation rate and error rate targets.
- Perform data validation and quality checks across all data sources.
- Configure and tune TFE within defined parameters; perform side-by-side comparisons between BillReader and TFE extractions.
- Translate business needs into data rules or configurations; contribute to system/process design improvements.
- Resolve complex Holding Area errors (facility creation, factor assignment, data linkage issues); investigate and diagnose systemic data processing errors, identifying root causes and recommending system or configuration improvements.
- Execute bulk operations for common data corrections; design and implement scalable data correction processes using automated tools; process structured data uploads (CSV/Excel) using automated tools; manage facility creation and emissions factor assignments; define data requirements with stakeholders.
- Liaise with Engineering to report extraction errors and system issues; consult with Customer Success on client-specific data quality matters; escalate system errors to Engineering; support client training on data quality requirements.
- Document data processing procedures and validation rules; maintain audit trails for data corrections and configuration changes; contribute to real-time metrics dashboard requirements; support continuous improvement initiatives through lessons learned documentation.
Qualifications and Experience
- A relevant bachelor’s degree or higher qualification, and at least 1 year of relevant full-time work experience in a similar role within the past 5 years.
- 5 years of relevant work experience may substitute the formal relevant qualification.

Annual salary will be between $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 (plus superannuation) depending on level of experience.
