An exciting opportunity exists for a high-performing leader to join the Advisory and Assessment Services (AAA) unit in the role of Director AAA.

An exciting opportunity exists for a high-performing leader to join the Advisory and Assessment Services (AAA) unit, within Work Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) attached to the Office of Industrial Relations (OIR). The Director reports into the Compliance and Field Services division, a fast-paced, operational division that manages and delivers frontline compliance and enforcement services for WHSQ.

The Director AAA, located at our Newstead office, has two distinct teams, one responsible for delivering triaging, including assessment and allocation of serious workplace incidents including workplace fatalities. The other provides advisory services through the OIR contact centre, ensuring high quality, timely and consistent advice to Queensland workers and employers. The triaging functions include allocation and assessment of serious workplace incidents including workplace fatalities.
