About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technologist to join our team. You will bridge design and on-site delivery, support technical delivery across construction projects, ensure compliance with Australian standards, and drive quality, safety, and efficiency for our commercial fit-out, development, and custom build projects.
Key Duties:
- Provide technical support for construction projects, including reviewing drawings, specifications, and engineering solutions.
- Assist in the implementation, testing, and optimisation of engineering technologies and construction methods.
- Conduct site inspections, technical investigations, and compliance checks to meet Australian building codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, project records, and compliance files.
- Support project managers, engineers, and site teams to resolve technical issues, improve processes, and ensure build quality.
- Assist with material testing, quality verification, and technical reviews for construction works.
- Ensure alignment with project requirements, regulatory obligations, and company quality systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline (AQF equivalent).
- Relevant experience as an Engineering Technologist or in construction technical / engineering support roles.
- Demonstrated technical knowledge in building and construction practices, Australian standards, and compliance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Proficiency in technical documentation, project record-keeping, and basic design or construction software.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety and quality management.
