With continued growth in our research and advisory services, we are seeking a skilled Equity Research Analyst to join our Sydney-based team.
Salary Range: $90,000 to $100,000 plus superannuation (depending upon experience & skills)

Main responsibilities
- Provide investment insights and general recommendations based on financial analysis, market conditions, and research findings.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and valuation of ASX-listed companies using methodologies such as DCF, NAV, and comparable company analysis.
- Prepare and present investment recommendations, including buy/hold/sell strategies supported by robust financial modelling and research.
- Perform due diligence on investment opportunities, including assessment of financial performance, capital structure, and macroeconomic factors.
- Monitor market trends, commodity prices, and economic indicators to inform investment strategies and portfolio positioning.
- Engage with corporate clients, management teams, and investors through meetings, presentations, and roadshows.
- Support capital raising activities by analyzing funding structures, preparing investment materials, and assessing impacts on valuation.
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and investment reports to support decision-making.
- Communicate complex financial information clearly to clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, ethical standards, and internal advisory frameworks.
Qualifications & Skills
- Master of Commerce (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in investment analysis, equity research, or financial advisory roles.
- CFA Level 2 cleared and progressing toward CFA Level 3 (desirable).
- Demonstrated experience in financial modelling, including DCF, NAV, M&A modelling, and comparable company analysis.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, portfolio management, and investment strategies.
- Proficiency in financial tools and platforms such as Bloomberg Terminal, Refinitiv Eikon, and S&P Capital IQ.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
