We have an opportunity for an Exercise Physiologist, looking to work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary health team.  We have a Full-Time role available based at our Christie Downs & Glenelg Health Studio.

In this role you will develop and implement exercise programs for individuals and groups which focus on wellness, rehabilitation, and chronic disease management, which support good lives for older people. Bring your passion and enthusiasm for healthy ageing, restorative approaches, and high levels of clinical competence to the team. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of customers across a number of different funding sources Including government & privately funded services.

In this role your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide Exercise Physiology services using evidence-based practice in a 1:1 & group basis within the Health Studio, customers home & other community settings (e.g. water-based exercises)
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team to support the health of customers holistically
  • Achieve program relevant KPI’s
  • Participate in quality assurance and reporting
  • Maintain accurate documentation/records
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including other health professionals, family members, support workers
  • Support quality and continuous improvement to support achievement of business strategic goals
  • Support the development and promotion of new services and products
  • Contribute to the supervision of students and other staff where required
  • Support the Leadership Team to achieve business goals

About you:

  • Degree in Exercise Physiology, accredited with Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA)
  • A passion for enhancing the health and wellness of customers through holistic assessment and provision of services (experience in working with older adults highly desirable)
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Ability to work effectively with a broad multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to set goals, review outcomes and evaluate
  • Active approach to service and professional development
  • Current drivers licence

The successful candidate will need to provide a satisfactory police clearance less than 12 months old before commencement.
