About Us

M Phan and P Tran Farm is a family run small horticultural business located in Lambells Lagoon, Northern Territory.

The farm operates from 175 Buckley Road (Section 1641, Hundred of Guy, also referred to as 1641 Buckley Road), Lambells Lagoon NT 0822, producing and supplying fresh fruit to domestic markets throughout Australia.

Our main production is mangoes and other fruit crops, with limited seasonal vegetable work to support overall farm operations.

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Fruit Farm Worker to join our team. This is a full time, hands on role covering field tasks such as planting, irrigation, harvesting and general farm maintenance at our Lambells Lagoon property.

Key Responsibilities

· Plant, cultivate and maintain mango trees and other fruit crops

· Assist with pruning, thinning and fertilising orchards

· Set up and monitor irrigation systems across orchard areas

· Apply fertilisers and crop protection products under supervision

· Harvest, sort, grade and pack fruit to meet quality standards

· Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment safely

· Maintain clean and organised work areas and follow all workplace health and safety procedures

· Perform other general orchard duties as required

· The worker may also assist with limited vegetable crop activities during seasonal periods if required

Requirements

· Previous experience in fruit farming or horticulture is preferred but not essential

· Physically fit and able to work outdoors in hot and variable weather conditions

· Capable of manual handling and repetitive tasks

· Reliable, punctual and able to follow instructions carefully as part of a team

· Commitment to safe work practices and high work quality

· Positive attitude and willingness to learn

· Vietnamese language skills are an advantage but not required, helpful for team communication
