Your Next Opportunity  

We’re on the lookout for a Full Time Grounds & Maintenance Officer to join our team at our Plantations Land Lease Over 50's Community site.  

Reporting to the Community Manager, you’ll play a key role in keeping the community looking beautiful, safe, and welcoming, ensuring residents enjoy a clean, well-maintained environment every day. 

Plantations is just north of Coffs Harbour, within easy access to beaches, cafes, and an equally great lifestyle.

In this Role, You’ll  

• Maintain all garden areas through pruning, weeding, fertilising, replanting, mulching, hedging, mowing and edging.  

• Keep grounds clean and safe by clearing debris, collecting bins, spraying for weeds/pests, and maintaining pool areas. 

• Carry out general repairs and maintenance, including tools, equipment, lighting, fixtures, fencing, BBQs and basic painting.  

• Respond to resident/guest maintenance requests, provide feedback on contractor work, and escalate issues to trades when needed.  

• Support site presentation and security by reporting damage or incidents and accurately logging all maintenance and repair activities.

• You’re reliable, safety‑focused, honest, and take pride in completing hands‑on, physical tasks.  

• You communicate clearly with your team and customers, using the right channels to keep work flowing smoothly.  

• You bring grounds and maintenance experience, understand site and safety procedures, and have practical knowledge of chemicals, equipment, and pool or site‑specific systems. 

• Hold a current “C” class driver license
