The Position
This is a dynamic role offering opportunities for development, training, and career progression. You’ll be working alongside a diverse team of highly qualified mechanics—some of the best in the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems
- Diagnose mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure safety and reliability
- Repair or replace faulty parts, components, and systems
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery
What We’re Looking For
- Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent trade qualification)
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, ideally with buses or heavy vehicles
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and follow procedures
- Valid driver’s licence; MR or HR licence highly desirable
