Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Fitter Laverton North, VIC

TRS Resourcing is currently seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Fitter to join a well-established civil and industrial services provider based in Laverton North.
This is a senior, hands-on position suited to a trade-qualified professional who can work autonomously across a diverse fleet of heavy vehicles and specialised equipment.
This role is not suitable for apprentices or junior trades.
The Role Duties will include the maintenance, servicing, and repair of a mixed fleet, including:
- Vacuum trucks (NDD / hydro-excavation)
- High-pressure water jetting trucks
- Heavy rigid and combination trucks
- Excavators and civil plant
- Vacuum systems, jetting units, and water pumps
Work will involve preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, diagnostics, and compliance servicing, both in-yard and on-site.
About You To be successful, you will have:
- Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or Plant Fitter
- Minimum 3 years post-trade experience
- Proven experience with vacuum trucks, jetting units, and pumps (essential)
- Ability to work confidently and independently
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- HR licence (preferred)
- White Card (required)
