About the Role
Black & White Waiters is seeking a full-time highly organised and experienced Hospitality Group Service Manager based in our Sydney office to oversee the delivery of premium hospitality services across corporate, private, and large-scale events in NSW, VIC and QLD.
Key Responsibilities
· Plan, coordinate, and oversee hospitality staffing operations for corporate functions, private events, conferences, and luxury events.
· Manage event delivery to ensure high standards of service, presentation, and client satisfaction.
· Advise the Event planners and Catering Managers regarding workforce planning, rostering, and allocation of hospitality staff across multiple events.
· Mentor waitstaff, bartenders, and event supervisors
· Review internal policies and procedures regarding customer relations and services
· Maintain strong client relationships and liaise with venues, event organisers, and stakeholders.
· Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, workplace health and safety, and relevant hospitality regulations.
· Monitor staff performance and ensure adherence to company service standards and grooming requirements.
· Oversee operational logistics, including equipment, uniforms, and event supplies.
· Support business growth through excellent service delivery and client engagement.
· Respond promptly to operational issues and ensure smooth execution of all events.
Qualifications
· Relevant diploma level qualification or higher and at least 1-2 year of experience in hospitality, events, or workforce management.
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
· Knowledge of hospitality service standards and compliance requirements.
