Sydney City Mechanical Services is in the HVAC industry and specializing in Construction Mechanical Services located in the St George region. We are seeking an experienced HVAC Air Conditioning Installer/Trades person with a minimum 1year experience to join our team.
For this position you will require skills and abilities to perform the following duties:
·Able to read and understand job requirements from design plans and specifications and outline installation points
·Prepare and complete rough-in; drilling holes, install mounting brackets, cutting and bending pipes
·Duct work installations; bolting, soldering, riveting, welding and brazing pipes and checking all fit and align as specifications
·Installing all relevant HVAC components; compressors, motors, condensers, and evaporators
·Investigate operating refrigeration systems, mechanisms are operational and make any adjustment as required
·Gas handling requirements; filling systems with gas or fluid and check for any leaks
·Able to remove test gas and fluids using vacuum pumps, and refilling with refrigerant
·Check and service refrigeration systems; identify any faults, repair or replace any defective components
·Report defects, causes and action taken
