Fremantle Hydraulics Pty Ltd has 32 years of experience in sales and service to several large industries including marine, mining, oil & gas and transport.

This role will suit a mature all-rounder. You will be operating in a friendly workshop, fault finding. Knowledge of Hydraulic Pumps, Motors & Valves dismantle & rebuild, coupled with the ability to read circuit drawings.

We are seeking for experienced Hydraulic Technician/Mechanical Engineering Technician & Fitter/Hydraulic Fitter, who can work in a small team environment where flexibility, multi-tasking is an essential requirement. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Hydraulic Technician/Mechanical Engineering Technician

  1. A competent individual, who has excellent communication, organizational skills
  2. Able to identify, analyze, and solve problems
  3. Piston pumps & motors experience
  4. Assembly and installation of new and modified mechanical components, equipment, machine tools, control systems and hydraulic systems
  5. Appropriate use of tools and equipment for mechanical tasks and projects
  6. Practical and creative
  7. Closed loop systems experience
  8. Enjoy technical and engineering activities
  9. Willing to accept responsibility
  10. Able to perform careful, accurate work
  11. Able to work as part of a team

Salary range: $76,515 to $100,000

Fitter/Hydraulic Fitter

  1. Extensive knowledge of hydraulic pumps, motors and valves, dismantle and rebuild as well as read circuit drawings.
  2. Repair, service, test, troubleshoot and install equipment as required
  3. Willing to accept responsibility
  4. Able to identify, analyze, and solve problems
  5. Able to perform careful, accurate work
  6. Able to work as part of a team
  7. Piston pumps and motors experience
  8. Closed loop systems experience
  9. Enjoy technical and engineering activities
  10. Interested in machinery design and application

Salary range: $76,515 to $100,000
