Hygiene Technician - Project Administrator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Administrator to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of facilities maintenance and environmental service projects across multiple commercial sites.

This role plays a key part in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with safety and quality standards, while supporting both operational teams and management.

This excellent opportunity will be offered on a Permanent Full-Time basis at 38 hours a week.

The successful candidate must have:

·Diploma in Project Managementor higher qualification in a related field

·Minimum of 1 year of work experience

·The right to work in Australia

·Good English skills

·Team management skills

·Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

·Strong time management skills

Responsibilities include:

·Plan and coordinate operational activities related to maintenance and technical service delivery across commercial sites.

·Supervise and manage a team of 4–6 staff, ensuring effective task allocation and workflow efficiency.

·Assist management with rostering suitable staff members for each area of the projects providing direction.

·Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with company procedures, safety regulations, and client requirements.

·Prepare and present operational and performance reports to management.

·Act as the main point of contact between operational teams and senior management.

·Implement and oversee workplace health and safety (WHS) procedures, including correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

·Identify operational issues and recommend process improvements to enhance service delivery.

·Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating resources across multiple work sites.

·Ensure service quality standards are maintained across all assigned tasks and teams.

·Support coordination of ongoing projects and operational workflows using project management principles

·Effective management of documentation, addressing inquiries and resolving issues associated with contracts, projects, and provided services.

·Providing guidance to senior management on matters requiring attention and implementing their decisions.

·Supervising contractor work and reporting discrepancies in work orders contribute to the overall oversight.

Desirable skills:

  1. Proven experience in project administration, coordination, or operations support
  2. Strong organisational and time management skills
  3. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  4. Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
  5. Experience working across multiple sites or operational environments
  6. Understanding of WHS compliance and documentation processes
  7. Experience in facilities, environmental services, HVAC, or maintenance industries
  8. Exposure to commercial or large-scale environments (e.g., hospitality, casinos, or industrial sites)
  9. Ability to work both in office-based and on-site settings
