“Good Luck” is one of the quickest growingshopping mall and wholesaler/retailer of local & imported products at Blacktown area within last few years. In order to further stimulate our company’s long term development, we are now looking for an experienced INVENTORY AND WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR to controls the inventory of materials or goods for our company. This includes keeping accurate account of all inventory on hand, as well as ordering additional inventory to meet the needs of the business.

PosItion: Permanent Full Time

Hours of Work: 9:30am-5:30pm, Monday to Friday

Salary Package: 83,000+super/per year

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor degree or at least five years full-time professional working experiences related to warehouse administration, procurement, supply chain or stock management in wholesale & retail or logistics industry;
  2. Fluent in English and Mandarin is a must;
  3. Completed accounting qualification or financial work experience is preferred;
  4. Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices includes inventory management, demand forecasting, procurement, logistics, and distribution;
  5. Good communication skills and strong coordination capability with all relevant stakeholders such as suppliers, customers and logistics providers between Australia and China;
  6. Strong leadership skills for managing inventory teams and driving process improvements;
  7. Proficiency in using inventory management software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and other relevant tools;
  8. The ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions to optimizing inventory levels, managing costs, and resolving supply chain issues.

Roles and Responsibility

  1. Developing and implementing inventory strategies to ensure optimal stock levels, taking into account factors such as local demand forecast for Asian food, sales trends, and seasonality;
  2. Monitoring inventory levels, tracking stock movements, and conducting regular stock audits to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies;
  3. Collaborating with Asian suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships;
  4. Implementing inventory control measures to prevent stockouts, overstocking, and shrinkage;
  5. Analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and customer demand patterns to forecast future demand and adjust inventory levels accordingly;
  6. Since an outstanding feature of Good Luck Supermarket is the the large capacity of storage and modern storage equipment, we need the candidate overseeing the organization and layout of the warehouse, optimizing storage space, and ensuring efficient movement of our goods;
  7. Generating regular reports on inventory levels, stock turnover, and other key performance indicators to provide insights for decision-making and strategic planning;
  8. Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, and finance to align inventory management with business objectives and ensure smooth operations;
  9. Continuously evaluating and improving inventory management processes, systems, and procedures to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction;
  10. Scheduling manufacturing & internal production dates to meet customer lead times;
  11. Working with the assembly department to ensure orders are completed & ready by the scheduled delivery date;
  12. Involvement in purchasing raw materials & items for inventory.
