About the Roles:

John Paul College (JPC) is seeking applications from passionate and dedicated coaches to join our Sport & Activities program on a casual basis in 2026.

Our co-curricular program is extensive, giving primary and secondary students of all ages and abilities the chance to participate, develop, and excel.

Our coaches play a key role in supporting students to build skills, confidence, and a lifelong love of sport and activities.

We have opportunities across a range of primary and secondary sports and activities, including:

Sports

  • AFL (primary only)
  • Athletics
  • Basketball
  • Cricket
  • Cross Country
  • Football (Soccer)
  • Futsal
  • Hockey
  • Netball
  • Rugby (including Sevens)
  • Touch Football
  • Volleyball

Activities

  • Debating
  • Esports

What We’re Looking For:

We're seeking coaches who are:

  • Passionate and experienced in their sport/activity,
  • Keen to support young people to realise their potential, build skills and have fun!
  • Skilled in building positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues,
  • Committed to developing students' abilities through quality training and coaching, and
  • Flexible, reliable, and ready to contribute to a busy and rewarding program.

What You’ll Bring:

Essential requirements include:

  • Relevant coaching qualifications or demonstrated experience in your chosen sport or activity,
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills,
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport with students of all ages,
  • Commitment to supporting the values and ethos of John Paul College, and
  • A current paid Blue Card (Working with Children Check) prior to and for the duration of employment
