About the role

Mainline Services Group is looking for reliable Kitchen Hands to support catering operations at a remote mine site. This role assists with food service, dishwashing, cleaning and kitchen support duties.

Key responsibilities

·Assist kitchen staff with food preparation and meal service support activities.

·Wash and sanitise dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment and food preparation tools.

·Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen, dining and food preparation areas.

·Assist with receiving, storing and organising kitchen supplies and consumables.

·Support stock handling, waste disposal and kitchen cleaning procedures.

·Follow workplace hygiene, food safety and cleaning procedures at all times.

·Replenish kitchen supplies and assist with maintaining operational readiness during meal service periods.

·Assist catering staff with basic food preparation tasks as directed.

Requirements

·Certificate I, or compulsory secondary education

·At least one-year relevant work experience

·Good work ethic and ability to work in a team

·Strong attention to hygiene and cleanliness

·Ability to follow instructions and work safely

·Reliable and able to work in a remote site environment

·Ability to pass site medical, police and induction requirements

·Food handling experience desirable
