Labourforce have several clients based in Perth and we are currently seeking experienced Manufacturing Operators (sheet metal) to work for our client in Maddington.
About the role:
- Must be able to work a roster from Monday - Friday (both AM & PM shifts)
- Pay rate from $35p/h (casual loading included) + super
- Immediate starts available!
Key Responsibilities:
- Undergo relevant roll form
- Interpret product drawings to program the folding machine according to specifications
- Manufacturing goods to our customers' requirements
- Operating metal folding, roll form and pressing machines and general sheet metal equipment
- Conduct basic preventative and breakdown maintenance in liaison with the maintenance team
- Participate in training in the use of specific items of plant and equipment
- Collaborate with team members, other business areas and projects as required
- Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment
You will need:
- Unlimited working rights in Australia (hours are full time)
- Australian Forklift ticket is advantageous but not essential
- Experience working as a sheet metal manufacturing operator, including ability to interpret product drawings
- Willing to train the right applicants
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Be computer literate
- Have good written and verbal communication skills
- Be fit, healthy and able to perform heavy lifting when required
- High level of pride in work
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
