About the Role
Our team is looking for a detail-oriented Legal Officer/Legal Researcher (Mongolian-speaking) to support our Registered Migration Agents. This is a great opportunity to build your career in migration law and to work with Australian-registered immigration specialists with rich experience in this field.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
For this role, you will be responsible for:
Legal research & Analysis
ꞏ Research Australian migration laws, regulations, and policies
ꞏ Review case law and tribunal decisions (AAT/ART)
ꞏ Stay updated on legal changes and new legislation
Legal Writing
ꞏ Prepare legal submissions and supporting documents
ꞏ Draft clear legal opinions
ꞏ Assist with cases involving visa refusals, cancellations, and appeals
Case Support
ꞏ Help with visa applications (skilled, student, employer-sponsored)
ꞏ Review documents and assist with case strategies
Compliance & Case management
ꞏ Ensure clients meet migration compliance requirements
ꞏ Track application progress and maintain accurate records
ꞏ Liaise with the Department of Home Affairs and other authorities
About You
For this role, you will have:
ꞏ Law degree (LLB, JD, or related field)
ꞏ Proven experience in legal research and writing: 1 year (required)
ꞏ Ability to understand and analyze complex laws
ꞏ Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
ꞏ Evidence of English language proficiency (preferably, IELTS 7.0)

ꞏ Excellent verbal and written English language skills
