Manage inventory, orders, and stock across multiple locations Provide excellent customer service to operational stakeholders 12 month contract - HR Forklift and C Class Drivers Licence (Essential)

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Logistics Officer to provide high-quality inventory and procurement services to our client. This role plays a key part in supporting day-to-day business operations by ensuring stock availability, accurate record-keeping, and timely delivery to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers. Conduct accurate stocktaking, process orders, transfers, and requisitions efficiently, and ensure stock adjustments and documentation are up-to-date.
  • Provide procurement and store support to business partners. Conduct low-value, low-risk procurement up to assigned delegation in line with procurement policies. Ensure purchasing, salvage, audits, and governance checks are completed accurately.
  • Maintain compliance with legislation, regulations, codes of practice, licences, policies, and procedures.  Adhere to safety, ethical, and corporate standards.
  • Work collaboratively to achieve team goals, implement leadership direction, and actively contribute to a culture of service excellence.
  • Take responsibility for personal and team safety. Ensure store layouts, materials handling, and storage comply with WHS and OHS requirements. Identify and mitigate risks and hazards.

Skills and Experience

  • Current High-Risk Forklift Licence
  • Current Driver’s Licence (Class C)
  • Experience in inventory, store or warehousoing operations 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of inventory and procurement procedures
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills and willingness to learn
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook)

Casual Loading 

Please note for all Australian based contract and temporary roles only, the pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading. This excludes permanent and fixed term roles.
