Mental Health Team Leader

Our Capricornia Correctional Centre is looking for their new Mental Health Team Leader.

QCS is expanding their psychology workforce and service model to include social workers and occupational therapists, and you will support the implementation of the new multi-disciplinary service model. The team provide services that impact and help shape lives through evidence-based mental health care in an operationally and culturally diverse environment.

This is a great opportunity for a senior-level clinician with team leadership experience or an experienced senior clinician ready to step into a leadership role. Building partnerships and stakeholder relationships are integral to this role as will be your excellent interpersonal and engagement strengths.

About you:

  1. Advanced level, demonstrated experience providing complex clinical services
  2. Provide clinical practice supervision to less experienced clinicians
  3. High-calibre verbal and written communication skills
  4. Good team leadership and management

Mandatory Requirements:

  1. Tertiary qualifications in Psychology with APHRA membership, or
  2. Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy or Social Work, eligible for membership or registration with AHPRA and/or AASW
  3. C Class Driver’s
  4. Post-graduate qualifications in mental health would be highly regarded.
