Mine Site Cleaner

About the role

Mainline Services Group is seeking a Mine Site Cleaner to carry out afternoon and evening cleaning duties across commercial premises, offices, amenities and common areas at a remote mine site, while maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

·Carry out cleaning duties across mine site offices, amenities, corridors and common areas.

·Sweep, mop, vacuum, sanitise and maintain designated operational areas.

·Replenish paper products, cleaning consumables and hygiene supplies as required.

·Dispose of waste materials and maintain cleanliness of allocated work areas.

·Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety procedures.

·Identify and report maintenance issues, hazards and operational concerns.

·Maintain cleaning schedules and complete assigned cleaning tasks within required timeframes.

·Follow workplace health and safety procedures and site compliance requirements.

·Support cleanliness and presentation standards across remote mining camp facilities.

·Work independently and as part of a cleaning and site services team.

Requirements

·Certificate I, or compulsory secondary education

·At least one-year relevant work experience

·Ability to work safely and follow procedures

·Reliable, punctual and self-motivated

·Good physical fitness for active cleaning duties

·Ability to pass site medical, police and induction requirements

·Current driver licence preferred
