Motor Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Motor Mechanic as well as a car enthusiast who wants to join our dedicated team in our workshop Sai Crash Repairs. The main role is to diagnose, repair, maintain and test motor vehicles. Main duties include repairing damaged engines and motor vehicle parts in emergency situations for company vehicles and for external customers. All vehicles are thoroughly repaired and inspected as per workshop standards for total driver satisfaction.

Motor Mechanic Position Description:

1. Perform full mechanical inspection of all vehicles
2. Service and repair petrol fuel systems of vehicles
3. Repair and replace turbo chargers
4. Inspect and service braking systems
5. Repair and replace emission control systems
6. Repair and replace suspension systems and exhaust systems
7. Inspect and service emission control systems
8. Test, service, and charge batteries
9. Inspect and service engines
10. Carry out repairs of car motor engines
11. Repair ignition systems
12. Service and repair electronic spark ignition engine management systems
13. Repair charging systems and starting systems
14. Service and repair electronic drive management systems
15. Service and repair electronic body management systems

To be considered for this role, you should:

·Formal qualifications in Automotive Mechanics or a related trade

·Minimum 1 years of experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic

·Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

·Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work

·Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, rewards given.

·Good customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly

·Current driver's licence and your own reliable transport

Annual Salary: AUD 75,000 - 85,000
