We are seeking an experienced and motivated Motor Mechanic to join our team at Northern Hire Group Pty Ltd. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, honest, and reliable, with proven ability to efficiently diagnose, maintain, and repair a variety of light vehicles.
Applicants must have:
- Certificate IV in a relevant field with at least 1 year of full time experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic, or at least 3 years of full-time experience in lieu of a qualification.
- Ability to work efficiently with auto electrical and hydraulic systems.
Your role will include, but is not limited to:
- Diagnosis of mechanical problems, including transmissions, brakes, steering, and suspension, on a variety of light vehicles.
- Dismantling and removing engine parts and/or assemblies, repairing or replacing worn and defective parts, and reassembling components.
- Performing scheduled maintenance, including changing of fluids and lubricants, engine tune-ups, and other servicing tasks to ensure vehicles operate efficiently.
- Ordering and managing spare parts required for repairs and maintenance.
- Planning and coordinating servicing schedules to ensure all vehicles are serviced at designated intervals.
- Recording service and maintenance details accurately in a computerised system.

A salary of $76,515 - $85,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
