Due to increased customer demand, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic (General) to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a broad range of mechanical servicing, diagnostics, and repair work, ensuring all vehicles meet manufacturer and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on light vehicles

• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and equipment

• Repairing and replacing components including engines, transmissions, braking systems, and suspension

•Conducting logbook servicing in accordance with manufacturer specifications

•Carrying out vehicle inspections, fault reporting, and roadworthy checks

• Performing road tests to ensure quality of repairs and performance

• Maintaining accurate service records and job documentation

• Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements

Essential Requirements

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or overseas equivalent)

• Minimum 1 year of relevant post-qualification experience

• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication skills
