Key Responsibilities
• Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on light vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic tools
• Repair and replace components including engines, transmissions, braking systems, and suspension
• Carry out logbook servicing in accordance with manufacturer specifications
• Conduct vehicle inspections, fault reporting, and roadworthy checks
• Perform road tests to ensure quality of repairs and vehicle performance
• Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements
Essential Requirements
• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or overseas equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
