With a large customer base and an excellent reputation, we are a well-known local business trading for over 25 years in the automotive repair industry. We have the latest in repair equipment and spray paint technology and we are looking for an energetic and hardworking Panel Beater to join our team. As a family owned and operated business, we pride ourselves on maintaining a respectful, diverse and fair workplace.

Polo Smash Repairs is approximately 45 minutes north of Sydney located in Mona Vale on the northern beaches.

We need someone to join us full-time to help with the growth & expansion of our business. The candidate must be able to operate as part of a team and confidently as an individual. Attention to detail and cleanliness are critical for a successful application. We currently have a great team and are looking forward to welcoming another member.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform high-quality panel beating and repair work on a wide range of vehicles, including minor dents, major collisions, and structural damage.
2. Assess vehicle damage and develop repair plans in collaboration with the workshop team.
3. Utilize industry-standard tools, equipment, and techniques to ensure accurate and seamless repairs.
4. Weld, straighten, and reshape vehicle panels to meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
5. Collaborate with the paint team to ensure a smooth transition from panel repair to painting and finishing stages.
6. Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to occupational health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. At least 2 years of proven experience as a Panel Beater within the automotive repair industry.
2. Trade qualification in Panel Beating or other relevant qualification.
3. Proficiency in using a variety of panel beating tools and equipment.
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
5. Knowledge of vehicle structures, materials, and repair techniques.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
7. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
8. Valid driver's license.
