About the Opportunity:
John Paul College Primary School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Assistant (Teacher Aide) to join our team from Term 2 2026!

This role, ideally starting with us from 20 April 2026, will work 4 hours per day, 5 days per week during term time in our supportive and dynamic primary school.

What you will do:
As a Learning Assistant at JPC, you will:
•    Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities
•    Provide one-on-one or small group support to students
•    Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
•    Support students with diverse learning needs
•    Prepare classroom materials and resources as directed by the teacher
•    Supervise students during school activities
•    Work collaboratively with other College staff to promote student well-being and achievement

About You:
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about education and eager to become a key part of our Primary School team.

Ideally, you will hold a Certificate III in Education Support and be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to providing high-quality student support. Your knowledge, experience, and practical skills will empower you to contribute effectively to student learning and growth.

As this role involves working directly with children on campus, the successful candidate must have a current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and a current and valid First Aid qualification.
