About the Opportunity

Lite n’ Easy is entering a significant phase of modernization, and we are looking for a practical, driven Project Lead to help deliver and take ownership of our extensive capital pipeline. This isn't a role for someone who wants to sit behind a desk all day; it’s for a specialist who thrives on the factory floor, managing high-impact installs and infrastructure upgrades that keep our operations at the cutting edge.

Reporting to the Group Engineering Manager, you will be the bridge between strategic planning and site execution. With a high volume of active projects, including automation, major civil works, and ESG initiatives—you will have the autonomy to push projects through an efficient approval process and see them through to completion.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Drive the Pipeline: Lead a diverse range of projects from equipment upgrades to major site infrastructure and civil builds.
• Practical Planning: Develop scopes, manage schedules, and oversee project lifecycles to ensure we meet production targets without compromising quality.
• Contractor Management: Coordinate between LNE, MQF, and external contractors to ensure work is delivered in full and on time.
• Safety Leadership: Design safety protocols pre-project and manage contractor inductions, ensuring a "Zero Injury" environment with the full authority to stop unsafe work.
• Modernisation: Bring modern technology into our operations, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency across a fluid multi-year capital plan.

About You

While a formal qualification in Engineering or Project Management is preferred, we value a proven track record and practical experience. This role is an ideal step for a highly experienced technical or trade professional who has reached their current ceiling and is ready to transition into a strategic, planning-heavy position

• Trade or Technical Background. A proven track record in a similar project-based role is advantageous. We value the insights gained from years of hands-on delivery and operational problem-solving experience in FMCG, Mining, or Heavy Industry.
• Site Savvy: You understand the reality of a busy production floor and can communicate effectively with everyone from operations team members to the COO.
• Tech Literate: You are comfortable using MS Project and AutoCAD to keep projects on track and monitor performance.
• Results Driven: You have the initiative to address obstacles, manage scope changes, and meet deadlines without constant supervision.
