Diesel Mechanic – Prime Movers Top Pay | Full-Time | North Melbourne Suburbs
Ready to work on a large, modern fleet without the uncertainty of labour-hire contracts? TRS Resourcing is looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join a stable, full-time operation based in clients’ workshops across Melbourne’s North Suburbs.
This is a hands-on role for someone who knows prime movers inside and out and wants long-term security, strong earning potential, and quality equipment to work on.
What’s in it for you?
- Up to $120,000 per year (depending on experience)
- Permanent full-time role – no temp-to-perm or labour-hire conversion
- Work within a large, well-established fleet & maintenance environment
- Consistent workload and professional workshop conditions
Your day-to-day will include:
- Servicing, repairing, and maintaining heavy prime movers
- Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out corrective repairs
- Major mechanical work, including component rebuilds
- Working autonomously or as part of a skilled maintenance team
- Maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity
What we’re looking for:
- Trade qualification in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)
- Proven experience with prime movers, trailers, or heavy vehicles
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently or within a team
- Based in Victoria (Melbourne) or willing to relocate
- Full Australian work rights
- Contactable references from at least two previous employers
