Residential Supervisor (In-Home Disability Services)
At the Healthscope Independence Services (HIS), we are seeking a passionate and experienced Residential/ House Supervisor to lead our Supported Independent Living (SIL) services operating within the NDIS.
Permanent, Full Time
Classification: Level 4 – (Pay point will be determined based on experience and qualifications).

About the Role
This key leadership role will report to the Area Manager. The residential supervisor will lead a dedicated team of support workers, ensuring the day-day care and support provided to clients is consistent, safe, empowering. This role will collaborate closely with internal leadership team to maintain service continuity and positive client outcomes.
A typical day may include:
Supporting clients with complex needs and ensuring services align with their individual goals
Responsible for the rostering of all direct support staff within your house including monitoring of absenteeism and recommendations for escalation.
Oversee support workers, provide guidance, and ensure high standards of cleanliness and comfort.
Ensure all staff understand and fulfil their responsibilities, ensuring their accountabilities and conduct regular supervisions with all team members.
Ensure all incidents are managed effectively and reported within relevant timeframes.
Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide informal feedback, mentoring, and coaching to support workers.
Identify training needs and escalate issues to the Area Manager.
To be considered for this role you will have:
Certificate IV Disability or equivalent sector experience is required.
Demonstrated ability to actively support people with disability in daily living and personal care skills.
High level of interpersonal skills including the ability to consult and negotiate with a range of internal and external stakeholders
Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently without supervision and use judgement to appropriately escalate issues.
Intermediate to advanced IT skills, including competency with client databases and use of the Microsoft Office Suite, email, web browsing and video conferencing platforms.
Ability to mentor and coach staff to ensure best practice service delivery is achieved.
