Eureka and King Pty Ltd is looking for a qualified and experienced Full-time Restaurant Manager to join our team.

Salary Range – $75,000 - $85,000

Business Location – Ballarat, VIC 3350

Responsibilities

  1. Planning menus in consultation with Chefs to ensure quality, variety, and cost efficiency
  2. Planning, organising, and overseeing special functions and events
  3. Coordinating and supervising kitchen and dining room operations
  4. Ensuring strict compliance with food safety standards and sanitary regulations
  5. Arranging purchasing, ordering, and pricing of food and supplies in line with budgetary requirements
  6. Ordering ingredients in appropriate quantities to meet operational demands
  7. Maintaining accurate records of stock levels, purchases, and financial transactions
  8. Working closely with management to meet revenue, cost control, and profitability objectives
  9. Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and maintain a clean, functional, and presentable environment
  10. Managing customer service operations, including handling enquiries, complaints, and feedback
  11. Conferring with customers to assess satisfaction with meals and service and implementing improvements where required
  12. Recruiting, training, rostering, and supervising staff
  13. Taking reservations, greeting guests, and assisting with service operations when required Skills and Qualifications

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  1. Relevant qualification in Hospitality Management or a related field (Certificate III, IV, Diploma or higher), or equivalent industry experience
  2. Relevant full-time experience in a restaurant or café management role
  3. Proven ability to manage daily restaurant operations, including staff supervision, rostering, and performance management
  4. Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene, WHS, and Australian hospitality regulations
  5. Strong skills in budgeting, stock control, ordering, and financial record-keeping
  6. Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced hospitality environment
