Responsibilities: We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Retail Manager who thrives on working in a fast-paced environment. You will be a strategic leader responsible for organising and controls the operations of a retail trading sales growth and customer satisfaction across the following tasks:
- Budgeting including forecasting and target setting for the Point Cook and Carrum Downs stores;
- Managing each store’s budget against targets to track growth and expenditure patterns;
- Managing stock levels, financial transactions and analysing sales figures for both stores including forecasting future order volumes;
- Determining the product mix including allocating shelf space to best reflect the needs of each store’s customer base;
- Developing and implement purchasing and marketing policies & programs including price setting, discounting & promotions;
- Driving sales and work towards key performance indicators (KPI's);
- Oversee the administration of each stores payroll in line with hours worked by staff;
- Ensuring each stores presentation standards are met;
- Selling goods and services to customers and advising them on product use;
- Ensuring a safe environment for customers and staff;
- Selecting, hiring, leading, training and motivating staff;
- Fostering a strong focus on customer service;
- Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
